 1. Two-pronged approach: Separate plans for rural (PMAY NTR Gramin) and urban (PMAY NTR Urban Beneficiary Led Construction) residents.

 2. Ambitious scope: The scheme targets the construction of nearly 190,000 new homes.

 3. Financial support: Beyond construction costs, the program offers additional benefits like reduced stamp duty and registration charges.

 4. Tax benefits: Homeowners may qualify for income tax exemptions on loan interest.

 Eligibility Requirements for the NTR Housing Scheme

 The NTR Housing Scheme has established specific criteria to ensure assistance reaches those most in need. Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:

 1. Andhra Pradesh Residency: Applicants must be bona fide residents of the state.

2. Economic Status: Possession of either a White Ration Card or a Below Poverty Line (BPL) card is       mandatory.

3. Non-receipt of Prior Benefits: Applicants should not have previously received housing or land under      other government schemes.

 Required Documentation

 1. Identity Verification: Acceptable forms include a driver's license, passport, state-issued ID, or military ID. A recent passport-sized photograph must accompany the identification document.

 2. Income Documentation: Applicants must provide comprehensive income information, including:

   - Current employment details

   - Number of working family members

   - Number of dependents

   - Age verification for all family members

 3. Proof of Residence: Acceptable documents include recent utility bills, bank statements, or official correspondence addressed to the applicant's current residence. These should be dated within the past three months.

 4. Housing Preferences: Applicants should clearly outline their desired housing specifications, including:

   - Preferred size

   - Number of bedrooms

   - Desired floor level

  5. Supplementary Documentation: Additional required certificates include:

   - BPL status verification

   - Religious affiliation

   - Caste certificate

 Upon compilation of these documents, applicants may submit their completed application package to the designated government authority for review.

 NTR Housing Scheme's Subsidies

 Rural Areas: If you reside in a rural area of Andhra Pradesh, you're eligible for a subsidy of ₹1.5 lakhs (1.5 lac rupees) on your NTR Housing Loan. This helps bring down the overall cost of your new home.

 Urban Areas: For those living in cities or towns, the NTR Housing Scheme offers a higher subsidy of ₹2.5 lakhs . This recognizes the potentially higher costs associated with urban housing.

 SC/ST Category Bonus:

 The NTR Housing Scheme provides additional support for applicants belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories. On top of the regular rural subsidy, SC/ST beneficiaries receive an extra ₹50,000, bringing their total subsidy to ₹2 lakhs.

 Online Application:
