For getting benefits of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Documents required are necessary to be submitted by the beneficiary to the agency of PMAY at the time of application submission. To get enrolled in PM Awas Yojana (PMAY-HFA), subscriber will have to submit these mandatory documents along with PMAY application form. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Documents Required for Submission
The first documents to participate in PM Awas Yojana is its completely filled application form which to be submitted along with the documents.Identify Proof & Address Proof: These are the documents which are the certification of the government for the existence of the applicants/beneficiary. Below are the list which can be submitted as Identify Proof & Address Proof for PMAY-HFA.
- Identity Proof: PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Voter Identity Card, Driving License, MNREGA Number, or a Certificate of house ownership from Revenue Authority of Beneficiary's Native District, etc
- Address Proof: Voter-ID Card, Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill, Driving License, etc
- Category Proof: Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Class Certificate, Minority certificate, etc.
- Nationality Proof: Passport, Aadhar Card, Birth Certificate etc.
Income Proofs and Certificates:
- Self-Affidavit Income Certificate (only if the income is below taxable limit)
- Income Proof of Beneficiary such as Salary Certificate/Original Salary Slip/Other income.
- Last ITR (Income Tax Return)/ITAS (Income Tax Assessment Order)/ Form Number-16 if applicable
- Last Six Month Bank Statements
- In case, beneficiary is self-employed then he/she will have to submit a brief note on the nature of business/ activity/ self-drawn attested financial statement/ business license.
- Valuation certificate from the approved Valuer, if not valued earlier.
Construction Proof & Affidavits:
- Construction Approved Plan
- Certificates which confirms the Cost of Construction/Cost of Repairs/Cost of Improvements/Cost of Extension certified by an Architects/Engineers.
- Architects Certificate which confirming expected life, fitness and future of Flat/House in case of purchase.
- Construction Agreement with Builder/Developer
- NOC from Housing Society/Competent Authority
- Affidavit-cum-Undertaking to the effect that the construction is in an authorized area, construction is strictly as per sanctioned plan/building bye-laws, loan is being availed for acquiring plot/ house/ flat for residential purpose only.
- Letter of Allotment of Property (where property is proposed to be purchased from builder/ housing boards, etc)/OR Agreement to Sale (where resale property is proposed to be purchased), Titile deeds/ Lease Deed/ Mutation in respect of pre-owned property, which is to be extended.
Payments Proofs
- Receipt of advance payment made to Builder/Seller. If any
No Pucca Ghar Proof
- Affidavit from the beneficiary that either he/ she or any of the family members do not own a pucca house (all weather dwelling unit) in any part of India.
