Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana 2017 in Jodhpur Rajasthan: Jodhpur Development Authority has planned for registration and application for JDA Jodhpur new housing scheme 2017 under Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana 2017 in Jodhpur for multiple housing units.

Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana 2017

It would be one of bigger housing scheme of JDA. According to the source, around 5690 houses would be allotted under the scheme. These houses would be constructed at five different sites. JDA Jodhpur and private builder will construct around 21,140 houses under MMJAY. Of total, 13,102 will be allotted to EWS (economical weaker section) and 8,038 will be for LIG (lower income group).

These housing units will be constructed in five different locations of Jodhpur including Tanawara, Paldi Khichiyan, Lordi Pandit Ji, Badli and Chokha.

Construction Period

According to the received information, a process of bidding has been started for constructing houses under the scheme. The construction process of houses will be started in the beginning of year 2017. An aim of constructing around 45,000 houses has been set up by 2017 which would be constructed by JDA.

Details of Flats

The size of EWS house would be around 325 square feet and for LIG the size would be 500 square feet. The EWS houses would be of worth Rs. 3.90 lakh and the government will provide a subsidy of Rs. 1.50 lakh to the applicant on the purchase of house as a subsidy.

Cost of LIG unit is around Rs. 6.00 lakh for which a loan of worth upto Rs. 6.00 lakh would be provide for the purchase of house to the LIG applicants at affordable rate.

Recently, JDA Jodhpur launched a scheme named as Tanawara Phase-I Awasiya Yojana for which applications are being invited through manual process. In this scheme, the authority has received around 3220 application for 560 flats. The allotment of these flats will be done through a lottery process.

An online process for PM Awas Yojana (Urban) has been started from 3 November 2016, but the authority has not yet received any related guidelines for the scheme.
