Registration and applications for houses under PM Awas Yojana in Kamal Vihar Housing scheme has been started and the last date of application submission is 31 December 2016. Under the scheme, flats/houses are available for EWS and LIG.

PM Awas Yojana in Chhattisgarh offering EWS and LIG flats which are available in the size of 383.08 square feet for EWS house and 617.83 square feet for LIG house. These housing units are available the affordable cost of Rs. 5.76 lakh for EWS house and 9.38 lakh for LIG.

Subsidy under PM Awas Yojana

This is a featured scheme of CG housing board and one of the best features of the scheme is subsidy. Under the scheme, the government will provide a subsidy to the applicants who will register for houses under the scheme.

A subsidy of Rs. 1.50 lakh will be given to the applicants of EWS flats and for LIG a loan upto worth Rs. 6.0 lakh will be provided which will further help the applicants to fulfil the dream of buying their own house.

Registration Process

To register for house in the scheme, application form to be filled along with the registration amount. The registration amount for EWS house is Rs. 25,000/- while for LIG house, applicant will have to pay Rs. 50,000/- along with application form.
