BHIM APP - Aadhar Based Mobile Payment App for Online Transactions: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched mobile payment app BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money) at a Digi Dhan programme in New Delhi.

BHIM APP - All you Wants to Know About Aadhar Based Mobile Application:

• The application is launched on the name of  Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, a towering personality who worked tirelessly for Dalits and the poor
• BHIM App will helps in making all transactions through it. 
• The BHIM app will have strong security features. 
• Transactions can be made using one's fingerprint
• BHIM App is a re-branded version of USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) and UPI (Unified Payment Interface)
• So far fingerprint stood for illiterate people and is looked down upon. But in a role reversal, fingerprints will now be your bank, identity and business
• During the launch, PM exhorted citizens to do at least five digital transactions daily from January 1 to promote cashless economy.
• This is a shift to digital transactions, it will be historic and change the face of India
• The BHIM app will empower the poor, Dalits , farmers and tribals
• This App will eliminate the fee payments for service providers like card companies such as master card or visa.
• The payment system works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days.
• You can transfer as low as Re 1 and maximum of Rs 20,000 per day.
• However, in a single transaction, you can transfer the maximum of Rs 10,000.

Steps to Download BHIM App:

• Open Google Play Store and Search for BHIM App and you can directly use the link below: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.org.npci.upiapp
• Now click on Install Botton to Install it your mobile. after the completion of installation select the preferred language and click next. 
• Now the app will as you for permission, give it a permission by selecting 'Allow'.
• Now Click on Lets Get Started.
• And now you have to Enter your 10 DIGIT Mobile Number (Make sure the mobile number is attached to your bank) and VERIFY your mobile number by entering 4 digit pass code.
• In case of dual SIM cards you have to Select the sim card in your mobile.
• After that SELECT the Bank from the list of Banks.
