Delhi Development Authority has delayed the launch of DDA Flat Scheme 2016 which was expected to launch on the eve of Diwali. The online registration and applications for DDA Housing Scheme 2016 will be rolled out in the end of December 2016.
Today Hindustan times published a news related to the delay of DDA scheme 2016. As per the news a meeting was scheduled for 23 September 2016 to finalize the scheme in between DDA officials and lieutenant governor which was postponed due to a bureaucratic reshuffle. The meeting was postponed to 10 October 2016.
On vice-chairman chair the IAS officer Udai Pratap Singh replaced Arun Goel.
“Some important time was lost due to the bureau cratic reshuffle and decisions on important matters are still to be taken. Even if DDA speeds up the process, it would not be able to roll out the scheme before December-end”, the official said.
In DDA upcoming scheme the authority will offer around 13,000 flats for MIG and LIG category or Janta Category. Most of the scheme in the scheme will be of 1BHK and remaining will be of 2-bedroom.
October 10 meeting had also been postponed until the next the date and the next date of the meeting is yet to be decided.
“The ‘authority meeting’ scheduled on October 10 was postponed. The next date of meeting is yet to be decided. We can comment on the exact date when the scheme will be launched only after the meeting is held” the DDA official added.
In this scheme, the applicants will have to the pay more security money compared to the last years’ registration amount. The issued like fully online applications, registration fees and partnership with banks will be concluded in upcoming meeting of DDA which will take around couple of months.
